“Extend your arms in welcome to the future. The best is yet to come.” - Anthony de Mello

Jimmy was born in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions and a major in Long-Term Care Administration. After obtaining his license as a nursing facility administrator, Jimmy oversaw the daily operations of several post-acute healthcare facilities across Texas. Jimmy also lived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he worked with impoverished, underserved communities and, alongside his wife, founded a nonprofit organization that provided psychosocial support services, including a complex family reunification program, to hundreds of children who were victims of child trafficking. After living in Africa, Jimmy moved to Amman, Jordan, where he continued his nonprofit work, taught as a substitute teacher at an international private school, and managed an organization that used capoeira as a therapeutic modality to help traumatized refugee children in Jordan, Turkey, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories recover from the violence of war. Jimmy has led multi-disciplinary teams for over 20 years and uses his diverse experiences to contribute to Innova Recovery Centerʼs overall success.

In his free time, Jimmy enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time in nature, and traveling around the world with his wife and 4 children.
